Brexit Watch

During this mandate, we contributed to the negotiations on the Withdrawal Agreement and EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement, with the main purpose of ensuring an ambitious environmental level playing field.

For almost three years, we wrote the weekly newsletter Brexit Watch. We counted among our readership EU and national officials, UK authorities, civil society and industry representatives. The products of the Brexit Watch newsletter will remain available below, for general information and reference purposes.

Brexit Watch - environmental level playing field

Brexit Watch is a news update covering the EU-UK relationship in view of an environmental and health level playing field. The purpose of a level playing field is to avoid unfair competition, for example through lower standards.

It is produced by Stefan Scheuer consulting and sponsored by CHEM Trust. CHEM Trust is a collaboration between CHEM Trust, a UK registered Charity and CHEM Trust Europe eV, which is a charity based in Germany. Both legal entities work closely together to prevent chemicals from causing damage to wildlife or humans by ensuring they are substituted with safer alternatives.

It is editorially independent from its sponsor.
