Stefan Scheuer, Owner and Director

Since 15 years Stefan is assessing, commenting and contributing to EU policies from a public interest perspective. He has established himself as an independet consultant, delivering public affairs and management services. Since 2011, he is appointed as Secretary General of the Coalition for Energy Savings, the unique voice of European business and environmental associations, local authorities and trade unions for putting energy and efficiency at the centre of Europeís energy and economic policy. In 2007 Stefan Scheuer lectured EU environmental policies at the University of California and Edinburgh and carried out research on integrated water management. From 2000 to 2007 he worked at the European Environmental Bureau, lately as its Policy Director, and was chairman of the ECOS, the EU citizensí organisation working on greening technical standardisation. Stefan Scheuer holds an MSc in Hydrology, Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany

Marion Santini, Senior Consultant, Director of Advocacy

Marion joined Stefan Scheuer Consulting in January 2014. She has worked in partnerships and held communications positions for the last seven years, focusing on corporate responsibility, environment policy and development issues. Marion coordinated the climate related business partnerships at the European Policy Office of conservation organisation WWF. Before joining Stefan Scheuer Consulting, she spent two years in Cambodia, working with Nexus, a cooperative of NGOs and social businesses active in providing access to energy to vulnerable populations. Marion holds a Master's degree in European Policy Affairs from the University of Strasbourg (Institut d'Etudes Politiques). She is fluent in French and English.

Almut Bonhage, Senior Consultant and Business Developer

Almut joined Stefan Scheuer Consulting in December 2017. She is an association manager, consultant, lobbyist and communications professional with 18 years of work experience in Switzerland and Brussels. She was Secretary General of EurEau, the European Federation of National Associations of Water Services and Board member of Ecos, European Environmental Citizens Organisation for Standardisation. Bevor moving to Brussels, she ran a consultancy for public affairs and communications in Berne, Switzerland. Almut holds a Master's degree in European Affairs from the College of Europe and a Masterís degree in History from Basel University. Additionally to her native German, Almut speaks fluent English, French, Russian and Dutch.
